When we look at where our society is today, it is not hard to see the lack of godly truth and spiritual values. We have to admit that God is not even considered as a point of purpose in the affairs of humanity, never mind creation. As a society, we have lost all concern for absolute moral values. The frightening realization is that a "who cares” attitude is also creeping into the church.
Who Needs God? will open up the thinking of this generation to the truth of God’s identity, and will address our responsibility to teach and train all people in the knowledge of His truth.
Rev. George A. Downes grew up
in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and embraced its
fundamental teachings with the emphasis on being born again. He was
called to pursue the ministry in his thirty-first year, and enrolled in
Nyack Missionary College, Nyack, New York. He graduated with a bachelors
degree in theology and has been a pastor for over forty years,
ministering mainly in inner-city churches located in New York and New
Jersey.
